Nächsten Sonntag, am 3. Mai, erscheint The Hunt for Gollum und im Herbst dieses Jahres Born of Hope. Beides sind Filme von Fans für Fans von Tolkien’s Herr der Ringe und die Trailer und Websites lassen die enorme Arbeit und Leidenschaft erkennen, die dahinter stecken muss.
Beide Filme widmen sich den Ereignissen, die chronologisch vor denen im Herrn der Ringe angesiedelt sind. In beiden geht es um Aragorns Vorgeschichte. Während The Hunt for Gollum zeitlich recht nah an den Herrn der Ringe kommt
The story follows the Heir of Isildur; the “greatest huntsman and traveller in Middle Earth” as he sets out to find the creature Gollum. The creature must be found to discover the truth about the Ring, and to protect the future Ringbearer.
